Good Evening Grizzlies, this is Mrs. Huff with the Willow Grove weekly update. KINDERGARTNERS JOIN US FOR FULL DAYS STARTING MONDAY!! We are looking forward to our Kindergartners joining the 1-5th grades for their first full day of school on Monday, Sept. 29th. All Kindergarteners will dismiss at 3:20. Important reminder: Please be sure to park in a marked stall or on the street, as the parking loop is for drive thru pick up only. Do not park on the curb and leave your vehicle.
PICKING UP STUDENTS ON TIME Please assist us by picking your child up on time after school dismisses. If you are unable to pick your child up, please make arrangements to have them picked up on time by someone else. Our grizzly students are eager to see you and share all that took place during the school day. Below are our dismissal times: M, T, W, F- 3:20 PM Thursday- 1:40 PM
LAST FEW DAYS FOR MEMBERSHIP RAFFLE- Membership’s SUPER raffles for fun prizes like $25 gift cards to Mixed Bags and a free photo shoot from Doll House Studios (valued at $150) is closing on September 30th!! GOT AN OPINION ABOUT A BOOK???? How about being a guest speaker during Book Fair Week, Oct. 14 – 17, on our morning Book Talk? Complete the entry form attached to the Connect Ed email for a chance to win a free Book Fair book and review that book over morning announcements. Be sure to drop your entry form in the green PTA box in the front office. There will be a drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 1st, and we will announce the winners that morning so they can start reading their book!
FAMILY PORTRAIT NIGHT- Don’t forget Family Portrait night is Oct.16th from 3-8 in MPR. Sitting fee is $30 with $20 going back to our PTA!! CALLING ALL GOLFERS! The Willow Grove Educational Foundation’s 5th annual Golf Tournament is Monday, Nov. 17th at the Santaluz Golf Club.
