Giving Tuesday is a day of giving celebrated world-wide on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Created in 2012 as a day to encourage people to do good, #GivingTuesday has grown into a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. This #GivingTuesday, on December 3rd, 2019, we are asking that you choose WGEF and essentially Willow Grove as your charitable focus.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 in 24 hours to support WGEF’s efforts to provide essential resources and enrichment opportunities to every student at Willow Grove.
To sweeten the deal, the class with the highest amount in donations will win a party from Sidecar Doughnuts!

14 additional teachers and staff
hand-on science instruction for more than 800 students
continuing education for 36 teachers
50% more school counselor hours
4 literacy programs
37 weeks of music and physical education instruction per student from PreK-5th

This school year, WGEF will fund over $325,000 in vital enrichment programs and teacher salaries.
